You'll find your time at YCC to be challenging, interesting and fun. We make sure you have a good network of support around you, to help with your studies and with life outside of the classroom.

You can get involved with our Student Union Committee, and organize events, trips and fundraisers.

You could be elected to be Class Representative and speak up on behalf of your classmates. You can also get involved in Sports Teams and key college events.

Each year, we organise a fantastic awards ceremony for those students who have achieved success and have been nominated by their tutors as the 'best in class'. We also host a Summer Sports Day, involving students and staff from across all areas of the College. Throughout the year, we have projects you could get involved with too, such as helping at events, or taking on the college photography project.

There is a range of events to supplement your studies, which involve presentations and workshops with key people such as the Police or Healthy Living Advisers. There are also competitions to enter, shows to see and fundraising days to run. There is always something going on at YCC.
