Yorkshire Coast College students show their brilliance at awards

Students and staff from the Yorkshire Coast College in Scarborough celebrated success at their annualrnevent, the Brilliance Awards, on Thursday 1st July 2010 at Scarborough Rugby Union Club.
Students collected awards from the evenings Principal Guest, Mr Andrew Clay, Director of Woodend Creative Workspace and Yorkshire Coast College Principal Bonita Hodge.
Also attending the evening was the Mayor of the Borough of Scarborough, Hazel Lynskey, who presented the Mayor’s Award for Outstanding Achievement, she said:
“It is wonderful to be here tonight, the students have worked very hard to win theses awards and it is important that we celebrate this at events like these.”
Bonita Hodge, Principal of Yorkshire Coast College, said:
“I am very proud of the students success, they’ve all worked extremely hard, and the event is an acknowledgement of their dedication to their studies.”
