Entry requirements

PGCE - where the subject of your Degree is different to the subject you wish to teach, then you must possess other qualifications relating to that subject at NVQ Level 3 or above.Certificate in Education - You will need a minimum Level 3 in the subject area you wish to teach, you must be in paid employment as a teacher or trainer for a minimum 150 hours at a recognised training establishment, and you will normally have a minimum two years post qualification 'field' experience.

Voluntary teaching or training may be acceptable if undertaken on behalf of a charity registered with the Charities Commission.

What Next
