MEET OUR LEARNERS
John Norgate a former Scalby School student studied
a Level 1 Diploma in Brickwork. John said:
"I wanted to do something that was practical and hands on and felt that the Level 1 course would be a good introduction in to the Brickwork trade. I learnt how to set out basic masonry structures and also how to construct block brick and cavity walling. I really enjoyed my time at the college and I often helped out around campus in order to gain some work experience. I feel studying at Yorkshire Coast College gave me a good start as I have now gained an Apprenticeship with Mitchell and Urwin Brickwork Specialists."
